ventureLAB ACCELERATE AI program presents an exceptional 6-month journey tailor-made for startups tackling contemporary challenges through the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into their product landscape. This program stands out as one of the premier opportunities for tech startups to thrive and excel.

Through tailored, streamlined support, participating ventures will accelerate their development and commercialization journeys, receiving support in four key areas:

Based in York Region, Canada's second-largest tech cluster, Accelerate AI leverages the region's existing strengths and expertise to further expand Canada's AI leadership.

FAQ

ACCELERATE AI ELIGIBILITY

  • The Venture must be Incorporated, based and operating in Canada
  • Focused on applied AI and intelligent value chain products and/or services
  • Less than two years old
  • Employing fewer than 500 globally (including its affiliates)
  • Venture must be at the validation stage, have developed a minimum viable product (MVP) or at the efficiency stage, experiencing initial traction in a receptive-enough market to build a business in
  • Able to demonstrate evidence that their technology solves a real problem for an identified market
  • Venture must fall under one of the industry sectors and value chain categories outlined in the application form

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Step 1: Fill out the Accelerate AI Application Form
  • Step 2: Our Accelerate AI team will review your application and Accelerate AI Program Manager will contact you to schedule a review panel for you to pitch your startup so we can assess fit for the program and make the final decision
  • Step 3: All applicants are subject to review and approval. Rolling reviews will take place throughout the application period
